Tips
Please consider the following during an inspection:
- Inspection is scheduled within a day from acceptance of an order.
- Quality reports are delivered within 2-3 days from the inspection date, depending on the complexity of
the property.
- Physical inspection typically lasts 30-40 minutes with most of the work being done in the office.
- If the appraisal request is ordered by a lender, the appraiser can only discuss the results of the
appraisal
with the lender who is appraiser’s client.
- Someone over the age of 18 must be present for interior inspections and to allow the appraiser to gain
entry.
- For interior inspection, the appraisal will need access and will require to take photographs of all the
rooms,
attics and crawl spaces.
- The appraiser has access to applicable data available in the area; any information needed or supplied
is appreciated.
- Utilities must be on for the inspection.
